Judging

To judge of an event before the final issue is great folly. It is also sin. It is both arrogant and presumptuous. It also brings much misery with it. [JJTP]

It is better, through honest mistake, to receive him whom Christ rejects, than through uncharitableness to reject him whom Christ has received. [ROOS]

Many will be saved and more perhaps be lost contrary to the judgments formed of them by their neighbours. But more will be saved and more will be lost contrary to the opinions they had formed of themselves. [ROOS]
